COVID-19

The DVSA have produced a range of Standard Operating Procedures for testing and training key workers in the safest manner possible. These measures include:

Ensuring that the car is adequately ventilated, ensuring the instructors' window is open, further requesting that the pupil has their window at least partially open.

Taking measures to thoroughly wipe down all surfaces that have been touched by the instructor or anyone else between lessons.

The wearing of Nitrite gloves as well as offering them for the pupil, in addition to a plentiful supply of hand sanitizer in the vehicle.

Not to allow any accompanying people to sit in the back during lessons, and to only use the car for lessons, not personal use.

We have been carrying out key worker lessons and tests following these precautions but it is clear that it is not always be possible to maintain social distancing in a vehicle...

...Therfore it is quite understandable for the pupil to wear a mask should they choose to. It has been decided, however, that the use of masks by instructors could lead to commands being misheard or misunderstood.

The above precautions have been initiated because of present uncertainty of when or if a vaccine will be available. We trust that this will help you to decide when to restart your driving.

If you're unsure about these guidelines or if you're suited to lessons at this time, please contact us directly.

Gift Cards & Special Offers

Gift cards are a great way to surprise that special someone for any number of occasions. They are individually numbered, dated, signed and cross-referenced; must not be copied. Each gift card equates to one (1) lesson, however, any number can be purchased. With regret the number of 'reduced / intoduction rate' gift cards offering a small saving per lesson are limited to two for any one 'first time' candidate / learner - regardless how many family members and/or friends might like to contribute. Lesson Cancellation Policy

Where a driving lesson has been pre-booked and the pupil is unable to attend their session, at least forty-eight (48) hours notice is required to avoid a cancellation charge.

If a pupil does not attend a pre-booked session, the full charge for that lesson will be invoiced, i.e. if the required notice is not given, then the learner is liable for the full fee. See also: Pre-paid / Block Booking Policy below.

Pre-paid / Block Booking Policy

If sessions have been pre-paid, e.g. a block booking of lessons, then a commitment by both the instructor and pupil has been entered into.

If a pupil wishes to discontinue with pre-paid lessons, a refund will not unfortunately be possible and/or should a student simply opt to terminate their block booking for any reason, with regret a refund cannot be given due to the initial allocation of lesson spaces.

Regular cancellation of lessons might also result in loss of space for future bookings. It is the responsibility of the learner to be aware of the above individual policies as well as all the following school terms and conditions when booking driving lessons.
